INTRODUCTION The foundation course is the initial step for anyone to enter the world of computers and the Internet. Today, computers are indispensable in most fields of life; from offices to homes and everywhere in between. Hence, basic computer knowledge has become a must for each and every individual living in today's society.
WHO SHOULD DO THIS COURSE? People who do not have any knowledge about computers. The student for this course could range from a housewife to an army officer, including children and even retired people.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN? After completion of this course, the student will be able to operate a computer as well as work on any MS office application. S/He will be able to create and use documents in MS Word, and spreadsheets using MS Excel. The candidate will also learn the necessary basics of surfing the internet, search the World Wide Web for information, and managing an email account.
JOB OPPORTUNITIES After successful completion of this course the student can use the knowledge gained in his or hers own field to expand opportunities. He can also get a job as a data entry operator or an computer operator.

| DTP Operator - Graphics Designing (PUD2) |
INTRODUCTION The term DTP is abbreviated form of Desktop Publishing, which is specially related to designing and art work. Generally Desktop Publishing is required in Press for designing Visiting Cards, Invitation Cards, Logos, Cover Pages, etc. Apart from these DTP can also be used in Webpage Designing.
WHO SHOULD DO THIS COURSE? People who have knowledge of basic computer skills or who have already done the Foundation Course (PUD1) may join for this course. The student for this course could range from a housewife to an army officer, including children and even retired people.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN? After completion of this course, the student will be able to operate a computer as well as work on any DTP related works as mentioned above, like designing Visiting Cards, Invitation Cards, Logos, Cover Pages, etc. The candidate will also learn to design some of the components required for designing a good-looking webpage, like Web Buttons, Logos, etc.
